Will Griggs

Chief Experience Officer at HIFI

Will Griggs has worked in the music industry since 2005. Will began their career as Co-Founder and Principal of Cantora Records, a record label that launched the careers of MGMT, Bear Hands, Francis and the Lights, Savoir Adore, Rumspringa and many more. Will was later acquired by Rostrum. In 2007, they became Digital Marketing Manager for Cornerstone Promotion, where they promoted content across top-tier and all other websites and blogs for such artists as Neil Young, Hot Chip and TV on the Radio. In 2009, they became Talent Buyer for Brooklyn Bowl, a 800-capacity concert venue in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, where they booked performances with acts including Kanye West, A-Trak, Solange Knowles, the Roots, Neon Indian, Questlove, Talib Kweli, Q-Tip, Big Freedia and many more. In 2012, they Co-Founded and became Principal of Mainframe Group, a brain trust of experts in music, immersive design and biometrics. In 2017, they became Artistic Director in Residence (Public Arts) at PUBLIC, an Ian Schrager Hotel, where they guided the creative vision for new multidisciplinary, 350 capacity performance venue. Will also developed and produced monthly, sold-out event properties spanning live music, comedy, screenings and immersive theater programming. Will also served as a Consultant for Accelerator for Media Pros with the Mayor's Office of Media & Entertainment and Small Business Services (NYC). In 2018, they became Chief Experience Officer for HIFI, a financial rights organization for the music industry, and an Advisor/Consultant. In 2021, they became City Lead: NYC for Friends with Benefits.

Will Griggs attended New York University from 2003 to 2007 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Music Business.
