Derek Spitzer

Derek Spitzer has extensive experience in the insurance industry, primarily focused on captive insurance. Derek started their career at Ryan in 2011, initially working as a Consultant before being promoted to Senior Consultant in 2013. In 2014, Spitzer joined Captive Insurance Group, LLC as the Director of Operations, where they remained until 2020. During their tenure there, they played a crucial role in managing the company's operations. In 2020, Spitzer joined Higginbotham as the Managing Director of Captive Insurance.

Derek Spitzer completed their Bachelor's degree in Management with a concentration in Finance at Brigham Young University from 2005 to 2011.
