Binu John

Binu John has extensive experience in the field of Information Security. Binu started their career as a Programmer Analyst at Infosys Technologies Ltd, where they managed a team and was responsible for project governance and lifecycle management. Binu then worked as an Assistant Vice President at Yes Bank, where they developed and implemented the Information Security strategy for the organization. After that, they served as a Technical Lead at BNP PARIBAS INDIA SOLUTIONS PRIVATE LIMITED, overseeing the design and implementation of Client Management applications with a focus on security. Currently, they are working as the CSO and Enterprise Architect at Higgs Boson Health, where they lead the design and architecture of the Manage My Surgery application and is responsible for managing Information Security and ensuring compliance with HIPAA and SOC 2.

Binu John completed a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Shri Guru Gobind Singhji College of Engineering and Technology from 2000 to 2004. Binu then pursued a PGDIM degree in Management and Finance from the National Institute of Industrial Engineering from 2009 to 2011. Additionally, Binu John obtained multiple certifications, including CISM (ISACA) and CISSP ((ISC)2) in July 2015, Financial Risk Manager (FRM®) from GARP FRM Program in January 2011, Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist in .Net 2.0 Windows Applications from Microsoft Corporation in May 2007, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional from Amazon Web Services in October 2022, TensorFlow Developer Certificate from TensorFlow in November 2020, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert from Microsoft in January 2021, Google Cloud Certified Professional - Cloud Architect from Google in July 2018, and DeepLearning.AI TensorFlow Developer from Coursera (exact month and year unknown).
