Dominic Grainger

Dominic Grainger graduated in French and German from the University of Durham (1987). He began his career at Price Waterhouse in 1987, where he advised several FTSE 100 companies and multinationals specializing in mergers and acquisitions in Europe.

His media career began in 1997 when he joined the CIA as Chief Financial Officer of CIA Europe and was heavily involved in building and consolidating the European network. He became chief operating officer when CIA regions were consolidated to create CIA Worldwide in 2001, before becoming CEO in 2002.

After three years as Managing Director of GroupM EMEA, he has been, since 2008, Managing Director of GroupM in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). His responsibilities include the management and growth of European media and digital services within the group, including organic growth as well as mergers and acquisitions.

In 2016, he took on additional roles as CEO of WPP Sports Practice, WPP's global entry point for sports marketing services and solutions. As head of strategic vision for the organization, Dominic Grainger is responsible for driving the development of WPP's global sports marketing offering, managing key client relationships and being the voice of WPP globally. sports marketing.
