Eric Oak has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Eric began their career as a Pharmacy Technician at Sav-on Pharmacy from June 2006 to June 2008. Following this, they worked at Target as an Executive Pharmacist where they supervised a team and provided excellent customer service from December 2012 to April 2013. Eric then took on the role of Pharmacist in Charge at Target from May 2013 to October 2013.

In 2013, Eric joined High Desert Medical Group and held various leadership positions. Eric started as a Clinical Pharmacist Supervisor, managing patients with various disease states and developing protocols for disease management programs, including the Coumadin Clinic. In June 2015, they were promoted to Director of Clinical Pharmacy Services and Disease Management, where they continued to provide patient care and oversee disease management programs. In March 2017, Eric became the Vice President of Clinical Pharmacy and Disease Management at High Desert Medical Group, followed by their role as Vice President of Ambulatory Care from January 2018. Eric currently holds the position of Senior Vice President of Clinical Operations, which they started in March 2020.

Eric Oak PharmD, APh, CDE completed their Bachelor's degree in Management Science at UC San Diego. Following this, they pursued their Pharm D. degree at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy from 2008 to 2012. In terms of additional certifications, Eric obtained the title of Advance Practice Pharmacist from the California Board of Pharmacy in June 2017. Eric also became a Certified Diabetes Educator through the National Certification Board for Diabetes Educators in April 2017.
