Heidi Hagemeier is an experienced communications professional with a rich background in enhancing visitor experiences and executing strategic communications plans. Currently serving as the Director of Communications & Visitor Experience at High Desert Museum since April 2018, Heidi leads the communications team and collaborates with admissions and store teams to improve brand engagement. Previously, at Ruffwear, Heidi managed communications plans and content creation, and as Communications Coordinator for the Oregon Natural Desert Association, Heidi developed the organization’s first strategic communications plan. With a foundation in journalism as a City Editor and Reporter for The Bulletin, complemented by freelance writing and editing, Heidi holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
