Jason Schultz, CHA has extensive experience in the hospitality industry. Jason began their career as an Internship & Guest Service Representative at Northern Illinois University, where they gained valuable knowledge in various departments such as front desk, night audit, and housekeeping. Jason then worked at Reside Living as an Assistant Manager, where they successfully transformed the property into the fourth highest extra large hostel in the world. Jason joined Chicago Getaway Hostel as a General Manager, responsible for the day-to-day operations and financial accuracy of the boutique-style property. Jason continued to excel in their career and became the Guest Services Manager at TownePlace Suites by Marriott, where they focused on team recruitment, development, and training. Their leadership abilities were recognized, and they were promoted to General Manager at Hampton, where they were awarded the General Manager of the Year and President’s Safety Award. Currently, Jason is the Area Director of Sales & Marketing for the West Region at High Hotels Ltd. Overall, Jason Schultz has consistently exceeded property financial goals, cultivated team development, and demonstrated exceptional leadership skills throughout their work experience.

Jason Schultz, CHA, has a strong education background in the fields of hospitality administration, international politics, business administration, and strategic leadership. Jason earned their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Hospitality Administration & International Politics from Northern Illinois University, completing their studies from 2007 to 2010. Building on this foundation, Jason pursued further education and earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Elizabethtown College between 2017 and 2019, specializing in Business Administration & Strategic Leadership.

In addition to their academic credentials, Jason has obtained several certifications related to their industry expertise. Jason became certified in CPR & First Aid in July 2017. Jason earned the prestigious designation of Certified Hotel Administrator from the American Hotel & Lodging Association in January 2017. Furthermore, they obtained a Food Safety Manager certification from the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals in August 2014.
