David Park

David Park is the current director at the High Museum of Art. Prior to their current position, David was the director of event operations at the Barnes Foundation from March 2012 to August 2016. There, they managed events and catering sales teams while marketing and promoting five reception venues. David oversaw the planning and implementation of more than 150 annual private events, providing more than $1 million in direct and indirect revenue to the institution.

From June 2004 to May 2010, David was the director of venue sales and client management at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts. There, they managed booking and sales teams promoting five performance venues and eight ancillary venues. David oversaw $2.5 million in billing from 170 annual independent presentations.

Between July 2001 and May 2004, David was self-employed as an independent consultant. David provided business development and operations strategy to clients including Marriott Hotels and Focus Point Philadelphia.

Before becoming a consultant, David was the events marketing manager at Moore College of Art & Design from January 2000 to June 2001. Prior to that, they were in operations management at Hyatt Hotels Corporation from October 1989 to September 1999.

David Park's educational career includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater from Southern Methodist University.
