John Slaughter

John Slaughter has had a diverse range of work experiences. John founded and served as the CEO of High North, Inc., the largest privately owned analytical cannabis laboratory in Canada. John was recognized as the #1 Lab/Testing Facility in Canada by the cannabis industry.

Prior to founding their own company, John worked as the VP of Marketing & Sales - Canada at PharmaCare Laboratories from 2014 to 2016.

Before that, they held the position of Brand Manager at Mondelēz International from 2012 to 2014.

John also gained experience at Johnson & Johnson, where they worked as an Assistant Brand Manager from 2010 to 2012.

John pursued their MBA at the Richard Ivey School of Business from 2009 to 2010.

Earlier in their career, John worked as a Sales Manager at Royal Canin from 2005 to 2006, and at Maple Leaf Foods from 2003 to 2005.

John Slaughter attended Oakridge Secondary School, although no start or end year was provided for their time there. Following high school, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Cross-Disciplinary Studies from Western University from 1998 to 2001. In 2002, they went on to complete a Post Graduate program in Marketing & E-commerce at Seneca College. Finally, in 2009, John earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Entrepreneurial and Small Business Operations from the Ivey Business School at Western University, which they completed in 2010.
