Andrew Stokes

Andrew Stokes has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations and roles. Andrew currently works as a Director at Alliance Norse, starting in 2022. Prior to this, they held positions at Staffordshire Moorlands District Council and High Peak Borough Council, where they served as Chief Executive and Acting Chief Executive. Andrew also held the role of Executive Director & Chief Finance Officer at both organizations. Additionally, Andrew served as a Director at Alliance Environmental Services Ltd from 2017 onward. Andrew was a Director at Ascent LLP from 2008 to 2022. Earlier in their career, Andrew worked at Stoke-on-Trent City Council as the Head of Corporate Accounting from 1995 to 1999.

Andrew Stokes completed their Bachelor of Arts (hons) in Business Studies at Staffordshire University from 1984 to 1988. Andrew then went on to earn a degree from the University of Wolverhampton, achieving a Chartered Institute of Public Finance & Accountancy qualification between 1989 and 1992. Later, Andrew pursued further education at Staffordshire University and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree specializing in Business from 1999 to 2001.
