Amanda Sandoval has extensive work experience in the field of prevention and community services. Amanda started working as a Clinician at High Point & Affiliated Organizations in November 2012 and served until November 2013. Amanda then took on the role of Assistant Program Coordinator at the Brockton Area Prevention Collaborative from August 2012 to July 2015. Subsequently, Amanda became the Assistant Director at the same organization and held the position until March 2022 when they were promoted to the Director of Communications & Prevention. Amanda also worked as a Board Member at the Plymouth County Drug Abuse Task Force starting in August 2015. Amanda served as a Board Member at Community Services of Greater Brockton from August 2013 to June 2019. Additionally, Amanda held an internship position as a Master's Level Clinical Social Work Intern at CASTLE from September 2017 to May 2018. Amanda also served as the Coordinator and Facilitator at the GRASP Support Group from November 2013 to October 2017. Lastly, Amanda held a Master's Level Clinical Social Work Internship position at Rockland Public Schools from September 2015 to May 2016.

Amanda Sandoval obtained a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Bridgewater State University between 2007 and 2012. Amanda later pursued a Master of Social Work degree at the same university, from 2014 to 2018.

High Point’s mission is to prevent and treat substance use disorders and mental illness. Our goal is to help individuals and families achieve personal change and improve their quality of life. We offer a full continuum of inpatient, outpatient, shelter, and residential care for children, adults, and adolescents. Our services include outpatient clinics, detox, clinical and transitional support services; Section 35 services, permanent housing for individuals and families in recovery, residential recovery homes, Opioid Treatment Programs, Community Support Services (CSP), Children’s Behavioral Health Initiative (CBHI), School Based Services, Prevention Services, and three family emergency homeless shelters in Taunton, New Bedford, and Fall River. High Point also has campuses in Brockton, New Bedford, and Plymouth. Clients, regardless of where and when they enter our system, are effortlessly referred for services- based on their need- throughout our continuum (or to an outside provider, if deemed appropriate) to assure quick access to continuity of care. Adults, children, and adolescents (in addition to their families) can therefore transition through every level of care without encountering barriers, thereby ensuring that both their needs are met.
