Professor Scott Goodspeed

Professor Scott Goodspeed, MHA, DHA, FACHE, currently serves as the Professor and Director of the Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) Program at High Point University and holds the position of Professor of the Practice in Health Services, Policy, and Practice at Brown University. Prior to these roles, Scott Goodspeed was the Program Director for the Master of Science in Healthcare Leadership at Brown University School of Professional Studies and worked as the Director at Stroudwater Associates, where solutions for healthcare challenges were designed. With extensive experience in healthcare leadership, Scott Goodspeed previously held CEO positions at Anna Jaques Hospital, Parkland Medical Center, and Connecticut Children's, following a tenure at Elliot Hospital that included roles as President, Senior Vice President, and Vice President. Educational qualifications include a Doctorate in Health Administration and Leadership from the Medical University of South Carolina, a Master’s in Hospital Administration from the University of Minnesota, and a Bachelor’s in Health Administration from Ithaca College, supplemented by a forthcoming certificate program at Harvard Medical School.
