Anke Cassing

Anke Cassing is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in investment management and business development. Currently serving as Principal at High-Tech Gründerfonds since 2017, Anke has held various titles including Senior Investment Manager and Investment Manager. Prior to this role, Anke worked as a professional freelancer in 2017 and as Business Development Manager at MedSkin Solutions Dr. Suwelack AG from 2013 to 2016. Anke also gained valuable marketing experience as Marketing Manager at Lohmann & Rauscher between 2007 and 2013, and held multiple positions at QIAGEN from 2000 to 2006, culminating in the role of Associate Director of Corporate Strategy. Anke's career began at IFE GmbH as Project Leader in Marketing from 1997 to 2000. Anke holds a PhD from MPI for Biochemistry, a Diplom in Business Administration from FernUniversität in Hagen, and a Diplom in Biology from The University of Bonn, complemented by a study year abroad at the University of East Anglia.
