Chandra Vijey

Chandra Vijey has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at Ryerson University from September 2013 to May 2016. They then joined Chalmers Suspensions International Inc. as a Quality Assurance Engineer from October 2016 to August 2019, where they were responsible for various tasks such as performing inspections, initiating change requests, creating PPAP packages, conducting audits, and participating in root cause analysis. Currently, Chandra is working at Highbury Canco Corporation, where they started as a Project Coordinator for Continuous Improvement in August 2019 and later transitioned to the role of Project Manager in August 2020.

Chandra Vijey has a strong education background in engineering and industrial management. Chandra obtained a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree from SRM University in 2008. Chandra then pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Engineering/Industrial Management from Stony Brook University, completing it in 2010. Continuing their education, Chandra Vijey earned a Masters of Applied Science degree in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from Ryerson University in 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Chandra Vijey has also obtained various certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge in the field. In 2018, they obtained the IATF 16949:2016 Internal Auditor certification from The Business Resource Centre. Chandra also earned a certification in Core Tools (FMEA, PPAP, APQP, MSA, SPC) from the same institution. Furthermore, Chandra Vijey holds a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from YDelay.
