Derek Cook

Derek Cook is a seasoned executive and entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience in the lending fintech industry, including three successful start-up exits. Derek co-founded Lendz.ai, where they currently serve as Co-Founder and CEO, focusing on borrower retention and engagement, and holds the position of Chief Information Officer at Highclere Capital, a new Canadian mortgage lender. Previously, they played key roles at Axxis Software Solutions and Delta 360, where they introduced innovative solutions used by numerous Canadian financial institutions. Derek also contributed significantly to the development of Canada’s early PC-based banking solutions and was involved in founding the Filogix broker technology network.
