Jana Dambekalne

Jana Dambekalne is an experienced lecturer in Applied Media at the Higher Colleges of Technology, with a career spanning over two decades in design and education. Prior roles include graphic design lecturer at Singapore Raffles Design Institute in partnership with Coventry University and Graphic Design Department Coordinator at Raffles Design Institute in Hong Kong, where responsibilities included overseeing creative projects and coordinating departmental activities. Earlier professional experience includes positions as Creative Director and Art Director at Alpha Baltic, Assistant Art Director at JWT Riga, and Designer/Art Director at SIA MEMAIS. Jana holds a Master's in Design Strategies from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and a Master of Fine Arts and Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communication and Graphic Design from the Art Academy of Latvia.
