Higher Ground a Resource Center
Jansen Azarias-Suzumoto is the Co-Founder and CEO/President of Higher Ground, a non-profit organization established in August 2007, dedicated to empowering individuals and transforming communities. In addition, Jansen co-founded RTEAZ in March 2020, a supporting organization designed to explore applications of the Proprietary Life Mapping System developed for Higher Ground. Prior experience includes roles as Account Manager at Copygraphix from 2007 to 2008 and Call Center Supervisor at Arizona Mail Orders from September 2005 to August 2006. Jansen holds a degree in Computer Science, specializing in Statistical Computing, from the University of the Philippines, studied from 2003 to 2005.
Higher Ground a Resource Center
Higher Ground a Resource Center (HGRC), is a non-profit 501c3 organization whose mission is to empower one life at a time to reach, transform and elevate the community through love and building character. For 10 years, Higher Ground has specialized in comprehensive support to critically at-risk students suffering from the effects of childhood trauma and poverty. Higher Ground provides behavioral health and social-emotional learning to critically at-risk youth suffering from the effects of childhood trauma and poverty. In addition to our location at Wakefield Middle School, services are provided in the Tucson and Sunnyside Unified School Districts and the Pima County Juvenile Court Center.
