Peer Reviewer Corps - Volunteer at Higher Learning Commission

Alice Ramos, Ph.D., currently serves as Academic Dean and Chair of the Department of Mathematics, Engineering, and Computer Science at Bethel University, where tenure began in August 2009. Additional roles at Bethel include Associate Professor of Mathematics, Interim Associate Dean, and Chair of the Department of Mathematical and Engineering Sciences. In March 2024, Alice began volunteering as a peer reviewer for the Higher Learning Commission. Prior experience includes a graduate teaching assistant position at Baylor University from August 2003 to July 2009 and a mathematics teacher role at Plainview High School from August 1999 to May 2003. Alice holds a Doctor of Philosophy and a Master's degree in Mathematics from Baylor University, along with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics Education from Wayland Baptist University and a high school diploma from Anchorage Christian Schools.
