Carole Chabries

Carole Chabries is a highly experienced leader in higher education and consulting, currently serving as the Founder of The Clareo Group since March 2022, where the organization focuses on leadership coaching and personal transformation. Additionally, Carole holds the roles of Team Chair and Peer Reviewer at the Higher Learning Commission, and serves as Principal at Chabries Consulting, specializing in inclusive hiring practices and leadership development. Previous positions include Vice Provost and Associate Vice President for Strategic Initiatives at Carroll University, Founding Dean of the School of Adult Learning and New Initiatives at Alverno College, and Founding Dean of Graduate & Continuing Studies at Stephens College. Carole's contributions also extend to leadership roles with the Associated Colleges of the Twin Cities, the Association for Collaborative Leadership, and the Itasca Project, with a strong focus on enhancing educational experiences and institutional sustainability. Educational credentials include a PhD and MA in English Language and Literature from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a BA from the University of Washington.
