Josh Overocker

Josh Overocker, Ed.D., serves as the Associate Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln since February 2018, while also volunteering as a Peer Corps Reviewer for the Higher Learning Commission. Previously, Overocker held various leadership roles at the University of Central Oklahoma, including Assistant Vice President for Operations and Executive Director of Campus Enterprises, where management of campus services and revenue-producing partnerships was a focus. Additional experience includes positions at the University of Oklahoma and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, along with a background in providing counseling services to at-risk youth. Overocker holds a Doctor of Education in Interdisciplinary Leadership from Creighton University and a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Oklahoma, complementing an undergraduate degree in Secondary Social Sciences Education from Elon University.
