Kim Nielsen

RN Subject Matter and Content Manager Expert at Higher Learning Technologies

Kim Nielsen has been working in the healthcare industry since 2000. Kim began their career at the University of Illinois College of Medicine-Rockford as an Asst. Director of Rural Health Workforce Development and Research Coordinator. In 2016, they moved to Mercyhealth Wisconsin and Illinois, where they held the roles of RN Quality Data Analyst, PACU RN, and Perioperative Nurse Supervisor. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Higher Learning Technologies as an RN Subject Matter and Content Manager Expert.

Kim Nielsen obtained a Master of Public Health (MPH) from the University of Illinois Chicago between 2003 and 2005. From 2014 to 2016, they obtained an Associate degree in Nursing from Rock Valley College with a specialization in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse. From 1995 to 1999, they obtained a B.S. from Illinois Wesleyan University with a major in Biology, General. Lastly, Kim Nielsen obtained a Bachelor of Science - BS from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in 2017 and 2018 with a major in Nursing.
