Andrew Kim has a diverse work experience, starting in 1998 as a Physical Science and Chemistry Teacher at Mountain View USD. Andrew worked as a teacher at multiple school districts, including Cupertino USD, Torrance USD, CULVER CITY USD, and Chinese Christian Schools. In 2015, Andrew served as the Executive Assistant and Website Manager at J.M. Dawson Institute. Andrew then became a Lecturer and Professor at Baylor University from 2016 to 2018. Andrew continued their teaching career with positions at Alameda USD and Caroline County Public Schools as a Mathematics Teacher. More recently, they joined Higher Logic in 2021 and has held roles such as Customer Support Specialist and Integrations Support Engineer, eventually becoming the Team Lead in that department.

In addition, they obtained a Master of Divinity in Theology/Theological Studies from Baylor University from 2009 to 2012. Andrew also has a Master of Arts degree in Secondary Education from Stanford University, which they obtained from 1998 to 1999. Andrew has a recent certification in "Creating Positive Conversations with Challenging Customers" from LinkedIn in 2021.
