Matthew Crouse

Matthew Crouse currently serves as the Director of Product Engineering at Higher Logic Vanilla since October 2023, previously holding the position of Manager of Software Engineering at Higher Logic, where management of two teams of software engineers, QA analysts, and DevOps engineers was a key responsibility. Crouse has a solid background in software development, with experience as an Engineering Team Lead and a Lead Frontend Engineer, contributing to significant projects including the integration of Kavi Corporation's products into the Higher Logic platform. Prior to Higher Logic, Crouse worked at Kavi Corporation, where achievements included designing user-focused application interfaces and enhancing the Kavi SaaS platform. Additional experience includes consultations at the Portland Code School, front-end development at other organizations, and a foundational role in managing the Oregon Zoo's education animal collection. Education includes a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology from Oregon State University and further studies at Portland State University and the Portland Code School.
