John Ikenberry

John Ikenberry is the President and Co-Founder of HigherEdJobs, established in April 1996, which is recognized as the leading source for jobs and career information in higher education. Prior to this, John served as the Associate Director of Development at The Pennsylvania State University from March 1994 to 1999, where responsibilities included representing the Smeal College of Business and engaging with alumni and donors for major gifts. John also held the position of Senior Research Analyst in the Office of University Development, focusing on researching major gift prospects and employing predictive modeling techniques. John holds a PhD and an MA in Higher Education from Penn State University, where studies were conducted from 1991 to 1999, and a BA in Economics and History from Northwestern University, completed in 1991.
