Luis Aponte

Luis Aponte has a diverse work experience starting in 2010 as a Student Assistant for the Office of Recruitment at Murray State University. In this role, they greeted and communicated with potential students and their families, assisted in coordinating campus visits, and managed administrative tasks for the recruitment and admissions office.

From 2013 to 2014, Luis worked as a Retail Associate at Bink's Outfitters and then as a Finance Coordinator at Campus Outreach, where they were responsible for financial coordination.

In 2015, Luis joined vineyard vines as a Sales Associate, and the following year, they worked at Campus Outreach again, this time as an Administrative Intern and Team Leader. In this role, they assisted with administrative tasks, planned campus-wide events, and led bible studies for college students.

Luis transitioned to the University of Mississippi in 2016, first as an IFC Assistant for Fraternity and Sorority Life, and then as an Intern for Student Activities Association in 2017.

In 2018, Luis became the Assistant Director of Greek Life at Samford University, where they remained until 2022.

Most recently, in 2022, Luis joined HighFive Healthcare as a Corporate Recruiter.

Luis Aponte holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Organizational Communication from Murray State University. In July 2018, they obtained the certification in Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) from LivingWorks.
