Reynaldo Rey Fernandez

Reynaldo Rey Fernandez serves as the Area Vice President of Operations at Highgate since November 2021, overseeing the performance and development of multiple hotels in Puerto Rico, including the Verdanza Hotel and AC Hotel by Marriott San Juan Condado. Prior to this role, Reynaldo held positions such as Area Managing Director for the newest addition to Marriott's Puerto Rico portfolio in 2017 and Director of Operations at San Juan Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino from 2012 to 2016, where responsibilities included managing various hotel operations. Experience also includes a position as Assistant Front Office Manager at Hilton Worldwide, overseeing a complex property, as well as serving as the General Manager for the Courtyard by Marriott in Bridgetown, Barbados, during its opening. Reynaldo holds a Bachelor's degree in Health and Physical Education/Fitness from ISCF, completed between 1983 and 1988.
