Pierre Miville-Deschenes

Pierre Miville-Deschenes is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the mining and construction industries. Currently serving as a Project Engineer at Highland Copper Company Inc. since November 2021, Pierre previously held positions as a Mechanical Engineer at IAMGOLD Corporation and a Junior Mechanical Engineer at Highland Copper. Early career roles include Analyst at RBC Capital Markets and General Contractor at van der Vliet Construction, along with significant underground mining experience at IAMGOLD, where Pierre led a crew under challenging conditions. Pierre holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) Honours in Mechanical Engineering from Ryerson University and a Certificate in Culinary Arts from George Brown College, complemented by a background in Sociology from the University at Buffalo.
