Jackelin Ortiz

Jackelin Ortiz has extensive experience in the education sector, currently serving as a Structure Teacher at Highland Park ISD since July 2023. Prior to this role, Jackelin held the position of Case Manager-Inclusion/Resource Teacher at Waxahachie Independent School District from October 2016 to May 2023. Jackelin also worked as a Junior ABA Coach at Easter Seals North Texas and as a Behavioral Support staff member in the same school district. Additional experience includes serving as an In-Home Trainer at Denton ISD and as an Assistant Manager at Sonic Drive-In. Jackelin holds a Master's degree in Special Education and Teaching from Lamar University, a Teaching Degree from iteachU.S., a Bachelor of Applied Science in Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of North Texas, and an Associate degree from Navarro College.
