John Donakowski

John Donakowski is an experienced project engineer with a strong background in construction management, spanning roles from field engineer to project manager. Currently serving as a Project Engineer at Highlands Ranch Metro District since June 2022, Donakowski previously held the position of Facilities Project Manager at the City of Englewood Colorado. A diverse career includes significant roles at Comfort Systems USA, AMI Mechanical, Adolfson & Peterson Construction, and Saunders Construction, among others, where responsibilities involved managing project documentation, budget forecasting, and coordination across multiple trades. Donakowski holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Colorado State University, along with FAA Part 107 certification training.
