Karan Agarwal

Karan Agarwal began their career in 2017 as the Founder of Wrytin. In 2020, they joined Stealth Startup as a Tech Lead and HighLevel as an Engineering Manager - CRM & Platform and Technical Lead. In their role at HighLevel, Karan optimized infrastructure to save $1M+ in cloud costs across ElasticSearch and Appengine, re-configured ElasticSearch to increase throughput by 500%, decrease cost by 75%, and reduce average sync latency from 250s to 500ms for 600M writes a month. Karan also implemented a live sync service from Firestore to MongoDB which processes 250M events a month with sub 100ms average delay. Additionally, they architected the database policy for MongoDB, split data across 19 clusters, and designed the events messaging queue to send 3B+ event notifications to 10+ internal services.

Karan Agarwal completed their primary school education at Ryan International School, Jaipur from 2003 to 2008. Karan then went on to complete their 10th at St. Xavier's Sr. Sec. School, Jaipur from 2012 to 2013. Karan completed their 12th at St. Xavier's Sr. Sec. School, Jaipur from 2014 to 2015. Finally, Karan Agarwal obtained a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Computer Science And Engineering from The LNM Institute of Information Technology from 2015 to 2019. Additionally, they obtained a Front-End JavaScript Frameworks: AngularJS certification from Coursera Course Certificates in March 2017.
