Carlos Hidalgo

Carlos Hidalgo, CSP, currently serves as the Senior Corporate EHS Manager at Highline Warren, a position held since September 2025. Previously, Carlos was the Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager at Avient Corporation, where responsibilities included overseeing the EHS management system and implementing new initiatives. Experience also includes roles as Process Safety Management Leader at Merjent, where Carlos managed client communications and regulatory updates, and as a Science/STEM Instructor at The Mount Vernon School. Carlos has a strong background in process safety management, having worked as a Process Safety Management Coordinator at Cargill and an Industrial Chemist at Georgia-Pacific LLC, where leadership in safety training was emphasized. Early career roles included maintenance and lab technician positions at Georgia Power Company, as well as environmental specialist work for Orange County Government. Carlos holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Chemistry from the University of Central Florida and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the University of North Florida.
