Emily Martin

Emily Martin is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in strategic internal communications and content management. Currently serving as a Strategic Communications Advisor and Internal Communications Lead at Highmark Health, Emily oversees the Digital Hub and leads the company's internal communications Yammer strategy while supporting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives. Prior roles include Senior Internal Communications Analyst at Allegheny Health Network, where responsibilities included designing internal campaign strategies and producing the monthly employee newsletter, Network News. Emily also held positions at Allegheny Health Network, Carlow University, the University of Pittsburgh Medical and Health Sciences Foundation, Akoya, and RJ Lee Group, showcasing expertise in communication strategies, message management, and project coordination. Emily earned a Master’s degree in English Literature from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor’s degree in English and Cultural Anthropology from Kenyon College.
