Brandon Zepeda

Brandon Zepeda is a seasoned design strategist with extensive experience in the healthcare sector, currently serving as Principal Design Strategist at Highmark Health since June 2021. Previously, Brandon held roles at UPMC Health Plan as Senior Experience Designer and Experience Designer II, where notable contributions included managing research on behavioral health and leading the organization’s first remote design sprint. Earlier experience includes work as a Researcher & Product Strategist Intern at BeyondCurious and as a Controls System Integration Design Engineer at GE Transportation, where Brandon designed automated tools that significantly enhanced operational efficiency. Brandon holds a Master’s degree in Integrated Innovation for Products and Services from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young University.
