Gerald J. Walsh

Gerald J. Walsh is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the healthcare industry. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Provider Contracting and Reimbursement, as well as Senior Vice President Market Executive at Highmark Health since June 2015, Walsh is responsible for the performance of various markets and the development of innovative operational plans for the provider network and healthcare delivery. Prior to this role, Walsh held several positions at Blue Cross of Northeastern Pennsylvania, including Vice President of Strategic and Business Planning, where responsibilities included enterprise-wide strategic planning and business development, as well as overseeing for-profit subsidiary operations. Walsh possesses a Master's degree in Health Administration from King's College and a Bachelor's degree in Health Administration and Business from the University of Scranton.
