Dr. Husein Moloo

Dr. Husein Moloo is currently the CEO and Co-Founder of PurposeMed, where they are dedicated to improving access to complex healthcare for underserved communities. Dr. Husein is also the CEO and Co-Founder of Freddie, a telehealth platform aimed at reducing new HIV infections, particularly within the LGBTQ2S+ community. Moreover, Dr. Moloo is the CEO and Co-Founder of Frida, a company whose role and responsibilities are not provided. Prior to their entrepreneurial ventures, Dr. Moloo served as a Clinical Lecturer at the University of Calgary and held the position of Principal at Highpoint Developments Inc. Dr. Husein also worked as a Hospitalist Physician at Alberta Health Services and previously served as a Resident Physician in the same organization.

Dr. Husein Moloo earned their Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences from Queen's University in 2006. In 2008, they received a Master of Public Health from Brown University, specializing in Public Health. Dr. Husein then pursued a Medical Degree from the University of Calgary, graduating in 2013. In 2016, Dr. Moloo attended the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, University of London, where they obtained a Diploma in Tropical Medicine & Hygiene.
