Julia Beattie

Julia Beattie is a Research Engineer at Highridge Medical since April 2024, where responsibilities include planning, executing, and documenting mechanical tests on spine medical devices. Previously, Julia worked as a Research Engineer at ZimVie and gained research experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Colorado Boulder, focusing on automating deformation microscopy code. Julia also interned as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at FieldLine Inc., contributing to the development of a nonmagnetic chair for magnetoencephalography systems. In addition to engineering roles, Julia has experience as a Flute Teacher, Retail Associate, and Nanny. Julia holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, complemented by a semester abroad at University College Dublin.
