Derrick Bolanos

Derrick Bolanos has worked in the IT industry since 2013. Derrick began their career as an Intern/Tier 1 Technician at South Florida Digital Alliance (SFDA). In 2015, they worked as an IT Project Manager (Intern) at Royal Caribbean Cruises, Ltd. and an IT Network Engineer and IT Network Ops Specialist at Florida Power & Light Company. Currently, they are employed as a Cloud Network Engineer at Highrise Consulting, Inc.

Derrick Bolanos obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Information Science from Barry University between 2010 and 2014. Since then, they have obtained a number of certifications, including AWS Certified Advanced Networking - Specialty from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in March 2022, Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate from AWS in March 2019, CompTIA Network+ from CompTIA in June 2018, CompTIA Cloud+ from CompTIA in March 2018, and ITIL® 4 Foundation CPD from AXELOS Global Best Practice in August 2019.
