Ayyappan Manickam

Ayyappan Manickam has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles.

Ayyappan is currently working as a Full Stack Developer at HighRoads since October 2020.

Prior to that, from May 2019 to September 2020, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Neueda, focusing on a greenfield project for a FinTech client. This project involved creating a SAAS platform for the "FX post trade settlement system".

From October 2018 to April 2019, Ayyappan worked as a Principal Software Engineer at Liberty IT. Before that, they served as a Senior Software Engineer from August 2015 to September 2018. Their responsibilities included participating in design thinking sessions, creating software for A/B tests, and analyzing the test results with analytic tools. Ayyappan was also actively involved in agile ceremonies and scrum.

Ayyappan worked as a Lead Developer at Oxford University Press from December 2014 to July 2015. During this time, they were responsible for the technical solution and development of marketing websites, integrating with multiple back-end systems to deliver B2B and B2C commerce.

Beginning in November 2007, Ayyappan worked at Tata Consultancy Services. Ayyappan started as an Asst. System Engineer and then transitioned to an IT Analyst role from December 2012 to July 2015.

From September 2011 to August 2012, Ayyappan worked as a Developer at Friends Life UK.

Ayyappan's earliest experience was at Lloyds Banking Group, where they worked as a Developer from April 2008 to September 2011. Their responsibilities included analyzing requirements, creating design documents, developing and testing software. Ayyappan was also involved in cross-project merging, troubleshooting, providing L2 support, and coordinating with offshore teams.

Ayyappan Manickam completed their Master of Computer Applications (M.C.A.) degree in Computer Programming from SASTRA University from 2008 to 2011. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from MDT Hindu college from 2004 to 2007. Ayyappan completed their primary and secondary education at Sivanthi Matriculation Higher Secondary School from 1990 to 2004. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained certifications such as "Sun Certified Programmer for the Java Platform, Standard Edition 5.0" from Sun Microsystems in August 2009, and "AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (SAA)" from Amazon Web Services in November 2017. Ayyappan also holds another certification, "AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate," obtained from Amazon Web Services in November 2017.
