Kurt Berglund

Kurt Berglund is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and management. Currently serving as Vice President of Engineering and previously as Vice President of Science at Highspot since July 2020, Kurt's career includes significant roles at Microsoft from April 2013 to July 2020 as a Principal Software Engineer, where notable contributions included co-inventing the Fluid Framework and being an initial member of the Office Mix team. Prior experience encompasses Senior Software Engineer positions at Rapid7 and Mobilisafe, where Kurt played a key role in backend architecture and mobile security solutions. Kurt's foundational experiences also include positions at Microsoft focusing on graphics systems and academic roles as a lecturer and teaching assistant at the University of Washington and Stanford University. Kurt holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Computer Science from Stanford University.
