Scott Smith has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Scott is currently the Managing Director, Head of Product Management at Hightower Advisors, where they lead a team responsible for advisor-facing products and wealth management services. Scott has also held positions at Merrill Lynch, OppenheimerFunds, Legg Mason, and Citi, where they gained extensive experience in business strategy, operational excellence, and product development.

Scott Smith's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Social Science from the University of Pennsylvania. In 2016, they completed an Executive Education program at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business with a focus on Mergers & Acquisitions (MAQ-2016). In 2005, Scott also participated in an Executive Education program at Columbia University, where they studied Persuasion and Influencing without Authority.
