Joseph Michael Charleston is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in scenic artistry and management. Currently serving as Design Director at Highway 85 Creative since May 2018, Joseph has previously held significant roles, including Finish Department Manager at Southwest Scenic Group, where responsibilities involved overseeing scenic element finishing and staff management. Joseph's diverse expertise spans various artistic domains, including life-sized figurative sculptures, set dressing, and faux finishing for high-profile clients, cultivated through positions at Tonnesen Inc and Encore Creative, among others. An alumnus of Arizona State University, Joseph holds a BFA in Sculpture, with a strong foundation in painting, illustration, and design.
