Angela Halliwell

Angela Halliwell is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in environmental management and sustainability. Currently serving as the Head of Carbon and Air Quality Group and Head of Central Carbon Team at National Highways since January 2022, Angela previously held the position of Head of Environment and Sustainability for Balfour Beatty Power T+D, where responsibilities included establishing and implementing strategic frameworks across England and Wales. Prior roles at Balfour Beatty included Environment and Sustainability Manager, Environmental Team Leader, and Environmental Advisor, where Angela focused on compliance, best practices, and stakeholder engagement. Angela's academic background includes an MSc in Environmental Management from the University of Nottingham and a BSc in Geography from Northumbria University.
