Chris Paton serves as the Chief Technology Officer at National Highways since March 2019, where responsibilities include modernizing and evolving the Architecture, Design, Engineering, and Technology functions while developing a vision to eliminate technical debt. Previously, Chris held various positions at Hewlett-Packard, including RSE EMEA CTO and Performance Leader, and served as Head of Infrastructure Solution Architecture at Nokia. Additional experience includes leadership roles in Infrastructure Architecture at Cadbury Plc and Regional Communications Management at Cadbury Schweppes. Chris began a professional career as a Principal Consultant at PwC. Educational credentials include a B.Sc in Information Technology from the University of Sunderland, obtained between 1989 and 1993.
