Mark Fairweather

Mark Fairweather is an experienced professional in the field of IT and procurement, currently serving as the Head of Commercial and Procurement for Digital Services and Technology at National Highways since September 2017. In this role, Mark leads the IT Commercial Division, focusing on procuring technology solutions that support safety, customer service, and operational delivery for Highways England. Prior to this, Mark held the position of Head of ICT at Derby City Council, overseeing strategy, policy, budgets, and program management. Mark also brings experience from Derby Homes as an IT Manager and from leadership roles in IT teams at Glanbia and Peter's Food Service. Mark's educational background includes an MBA in Leadership and Strategy from the University of Derby and a degree in Humanities from Middlesex University.
