Mark Simmonite has over two decades of experience in service delivery and project management within the transportation and technology sectors, currently serving as Service Delivery Manager for Roadside Technology in Digital Services at National Highways since December 2002. Mark has successfully led high-profile initiatives such as utilizing video analytics for the Stop Vehicle Detection system and managing the National Traffic Information Service contract renewal. Previous roles include Technology Asset Manager, where Mark developed the Technology Asset Management Strategy, and various project management positions focused on traffic technology solutions across the Midlands regions. Mark holds a BEng (Hons) in Electrical Engineering Systems and a foundation degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Aston University, as well as a Higher National Certificate in Computing from Birmingham City University.
