Leslie Jones

Leslie Jones has extensive experience as an educator, currently serving as an English Teacher and English Department Chair at Higley Unified School District since July 2006. Responsibilities include participation in language arts curriculum development, teaching Advanced Placement and honors courses, managing block classes, and utilizing differentiated instruction methods. Additionally, Leslie has taken on roles such as Academic Decathlon Coach, Student Council Advisor, and V/JV Girls Tennis Coach. Prior experience includes teaching American Literature at Apache Junction High School and supervisory duties at Citation Publishing, Inc. Leslie holds a Post BAC in Education from the University of Phoenix, a Master’s degree in Humanities with a focus on Film Studies from Arizona State University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Humanities with concentrations in English and Art History from Brigham Young University.
