Raja MAZEH is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in governance, project management, and public engagement across various roles. Currently serving as the Tunisia Country Manager at HiiL since January 2022, Raja MAZEH oversees program execution and team management, ensuring effective collaboration between Tunis and The Hague. Previously, as a consultant for the OECD in late 2021, Raja MAZEH led initiatives to boost youth participation in public life and contributed to projects evaluating citizen satisfaction with public services. From 2015 to 2021, Raja MAZEH held the position of Programme Manager for Governance at the British Embassy in Tunis, managing substantial multi-year projects focused on good governance and support for vulnerable groups. Additional experience includes overseeing grants for the US-Middle East Partnership Initiative from 2010 to 2015 and serving as an accountant at the American Embassy in Tunis in the late 2000s. Raja MAZEH holds a Bachelor in Business Accounting from the Institut Supérieur de Gestion and a Baccalaureate degree in mathematics from Lycée Ibn Rachik.
