Lead E,C&I Engineer at HiiROC

Michael Plant has extensive work experience in the engineering field. Michael currently holds the role of Lead E,C&I Engineer at HiiROC since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Phillips 66 as an Instrument Project Engineer from March 2020 to April 2022. Before that, they worked as an Instrument & Controls Engineer (contract) at Plant Industries Ltd, specifically for Phillips 66 (Humber Refinery), UK from June 2017 to March 2020. Michael also had a long tenure at Centrica Storage, starting as an Instrument Technician from September 2002 to October 2008, then as a Project Engineer from October 2008 to February 2012, and finally as an Instrument Engineer from February 2012 to June 2017.

Michael Plant has a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Engineering and Technology Management from The University of Huddersfield, which they obtained from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, they attended North Lindsey College from 2004 to 2006, where they pursued an HNC Instrumentation. From 2002 to 2004, Michael went to Hull College and studied a BTEC National in Maintenance. Michael'shigh school education was completed at Withernsea High School from 1998 to 2002.

In addition to their formal education, Michael Plant has also obtained several certifications. Michael became a Chartered Engineer from the Engineering Council in February 2022. Michael also earned the title of Incorporated Engineer from the Engineering Council in August 2015. Furthermore, Michael is a Functional Safety Engineer certified by TÜV Rheinland AG, which they achieved in October 2015.
