Eric Luster

Eric Luster is the CEO of Hiji Band. Eric was previously the Technology Integrator / Researcher at RehabDev from April 2013 to January 2014. Prior to that, they were the Lead Senior Systems Engineer (Contractor) at General Dynamics C4 Systems from November 2008 to October 2009. In their previous role, they provided critical support to the Government’s effort in technical integration, project management, and engineering support for End-to-End (N2N) testing. Additionally, they provided support for the primary communications path between the Lockheed Martin and General Dynamics testing facilities through the Test Terrestrial Network (TTN). This included troubleshooting hardware and software issues within the provided distributed Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) wide area network (WAN).

Highlights of their work include:

- Planning and executing test cases and test procedures for Risk Reduction and N2N-2 test events.

- Installing and configuring various customized applications, such as, the Netcool suite which includes Netcool/OMNIbus, fault Probes, WebTop, Precision, and Security Manger to compile Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMPv3) Management Information Base (MIBs), etc.

- Supporting the generation of Test Cases for NMS functionality and interfaces

- Determining/ locating appropriate MIBs for managed/monitored N2N equipment

- Configuring and loading MIBs for all managed and monitored N2N equipment in the fault management application

- Assisting in the deployment of customized AAA servers that manage authentication

Eric Luster has a PhD in Computer Science from Arizona State University. Eric also has a Doctorate of Business Administration in Technology Entrepreneurship from Walden University. Additionally, they have an MBA in Information and Technology from Western International University. Eric also has a BSOE in Computer Information Systems from Wayland Baptist University. Lastly, they have an AAS in Network Management from Cochise College.
