Tomohiko Hamada

After graduating from the Faculty of Law, Chuo University, joined Salomon Brothers Asia Securities (currently Citigroup Securities) in 1991. He is engaged in stock index arbitrage in the Equity Derivatives Trading Department. After that, as Vice President, he promoted the system introduction and sales activities of the Global Program Trading Department, and after working at Fuji Securities (currently Mizuho Securities), joined CS First Boston Securities (currently Credit Suisse Securities) in 2000. In addition to introducing a trading system as the Japanese business manager of the Global Portfolio Trading Group, building businesses with nearly 100 domestic and overseas institutional investors, as well as advanced trading methods such as algorithmic trading and dark pools. Introduced for the first time in Japan, both leading to success. He has been engaged in consulting work at Simplex since 2011.

Co-founded HiJoJo Partners in November 2017.

Many media publications and appearances on the Japanese stock market structure in the Nihon Keizai Shimbun, Weekly Toyo Keizai, NHK, Reuters, Bloomberg, etc.
